Relate Mid Yorkshire has received a third sector health grant from NHS Leeds North Clinical Commissioning Group to provide 6 free relationship counselling sessions to support people affected by a long term health condition. This could be a physical or a mental health condition.
We know that having a long term health condition can not only cause difficulties for the person who is ill but also for partners and family members. It is also recognised that people who have strong supportive relationships with those around them have greater resilience to cope with difficulties, and our aim is to strengthen those relationships.
This is a pilot project and we will be providing counselling sessions via Webcam for people who want counselling on their own, as a couple or as a family.
For more information about how our Webcam counselling service works, please see our Webcam Counselling page.
For more information about booking an appointment, please contact our Leeds Centre 01302 347444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
At this stage, this service is only available to individuals, couples and families registered with a GP in the Leeds North Clinical Commissioning group area.
